Interceptor Spectrum is a tablet used for the prevention of heartworm disease and for the control of roundworm, whipworm, hookworm and tapeworm for dogs. Interceptor Spectrum contains the active ingredients Milbemycin and Praziquantel and are given once a month. The tablets are beef flavoured and are readily accepted by dogs.

 

Interceptor Spectrum Flavour Tabs for Dogs is a once a month tablet for the prevention of heartworm disease and control of adult intestinal worms.

Directions for Use
Interceptor Spectrum Flavour Tabs is given once a month, year round. The usual dose of Interceptor Spectrum in dogs up to 4 kg is 1 tablet from red pack, for dogs 4.5 to 11 kg is 1 tablet from green pack, for dogs 11.5 to 22 kg is 1 tablet from yellow pack, and for dogs 22.5 to 45 kg is 1 tablet from the white pack.

Cautions
Do not use in puppies under 2 weeks of age. This medication should not be used in animals allergic to it. Heartworm testing should be performed prior to the start of prevention therapy.

Possible Side Effects
The side effects of Milbemycin and Praziquantel are rare at the recommended dosage. Interceptor has a wide margin of safety for all sizes and breeds of dogs including Collies. It is approved for use in puppies as young as 2 weeks, pregnant females, breeding bitches and stud dogs.
