Revolution® Flea for Dogs Description
Revolution® for dogs is a muilti action parasite control on dogs. Revolution packed with active ingredient selamectin is a topical parasiticide used in the treatment and prevention of fleas, heartworm and ear mites in dogs and cats. Revolution® is used on dogs against sacroptic mange and biting lice as well. Revolution® for dogs is effective in controlling fleas by killing adult fleas and its eggs.

Directions for Use
Revolution is applied to the skin on the back at the base of the neck once a month, in cats and dogs. Apply the contents in one spot and do not massage in. The animal may be bathed or allowed to swim 2 hours after the medication is applied. Spot on applicators are portioned based on the pet's weight: puppies and kittens up to 2.5kg; cats between 2.6 and 7.5kg; dogs between 2.6 and 5kg, 5.1 and 10kg, 10.1 and 20kg and 20.1 and 40kg.
Possible Side effects
Revolution is generally well-tolerated. In studies, <1% of cats and dogs experienced digestive upset. Approximately 1% of cats experienced temporary hair loss at the application site.
Caution
Do not use selamectin in animals allergic to it. Do not use on puppies or kittens under 6 weeks of age. Use with caution in sick, weak or underweight animals. Safe for use in puppies as young as 6 weeks, breeding and nursing animals, Avermection sensitive collies and heartworm positive dogs. Flammable. Keep away from heat, sparks or open flame. This product causes eye irritation in humans and is harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with skin. Call poison information center if swallowed. If on skin, wash with plenty of soap and water. If in eyes, flush with plenty of water.
