Sentinel Spectrum Tasty Chews Description
Sentinel Spectrum is a meaty chewable tablet used for the prevention of heartworm disease, for the prevention and long term control of fleas and for the control of roundworm, whipworm, hookworm and tapeworms in dogs. Sentinel Spectrum contains the three main active ingredients Milbemycin, Lufenuron and Praziquantel formulated to protect your dog against Flea, Heartworm and Intestinal worms. The meaty chewable tablets are beef flavoured and are readily accepted by dogs.

Directions for Use
Sentinel Spectrum Tasty Chews are given once a month, year round with a full meal. The usual dose Sentinel Spectrum in dogs up to 4 kg is 1 tablet from red pack, for dogs 4.5 to 11 kg is 1 tablet from green pack, for dogs 11.5 to 22 kg is 1 tablet from yellow pack, and for dogs 22.5 to 45 kg is 1 tablet from white pack.
Do not use in puppies under 6 weeks of age. This medication should not be used in animals allergic to it. Heartworm testing should be performed prior to the start of prevention therapy.
Possible Side Effects
The side effects of Sentinel Spectrum are rare at the recommended dosage. Sentinel Spectrum has a wide margin of safety for all sizes and breeds of dogs including Collies. It is approved for use in puppies as young as 6 weeks, pregnant females, breeding bitches and stud dogs. Adverse reactions reported include vomiting, diarrhoea, depression/lethargy and pruritis. If unusual signs develop following treatment with Sentinel Spectrum, consult a veterinarian immediately.
