Advantage for dogs with Imidacloprid is a once a month topical flea treatment and flea preventative that is registered for use from birth on both dogs and cats. Advantage flea treatment kills 98-100% of fleas on a dog within 12 hours and prevents further flea infestation for up to 4 weeks. Advantage flea control targets two parts of flea's life cycle - adult flea and larval stage.

Directions for Use
Place the applicator tip through the animals hair to the skin level. On cats, apply to skin on neck at the base of the skull. For dogs up to 25kg, apply to skin on back between the shoulder blades. For dogs over 25kg apply in divided doses between the shoulder blades on the back between the hips and one point in between. Do not get this product in the pet's eyes or mouth.

Cautions
This product is for external use on dogs 7 weeks or older and cats 8 weeks or older. Consult a veterinarian before using on medicated animals, animals using this product with other pesticides, and debilitated or aged animals. Advantage is safe for use on pregnant and lactating animals. This product causes eye irritation in humans and is harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with skin. Call poison information center if swallowed. If on skin, wash with plenty of soap and water. If in eyes, flush with plenty of water.

Possible Side Effects
Individual sensitivities, while rare, may occur after using any pesticide product for pets. If signs persist, or become more severe, consult a veterinarian immediately.
