Surfing Dog Championships
Back in 2012, the first-ever VetShopAustralia Surfing Dogs Championship started out as a playful workshop in the still waters of Noosa Dog Beach. Fast-forward to ten years later and without a doubt the most popular event at the Noosa Festival of Surfing, the Surfing Dog Championships continues to draw an audience well into the 1000's. Our exceptionally talented hydro-hounds and their masters shred the waves of First Point, Noosa and it is a sight not to be missed!

2024 Event Highlights
The 13th Annual Surfing Dogs Championships at First Point Noosa featured 13 teams. The weather and surf was rough but competition did not disappoint. With the surf dogs pulling the sickest tricks in the waves. Bu and Dane were crowned the best wave of 2024.
2023 Event Highlights
The 12th Annual Surfing Dogs Championships at First Point Noosa featured nine teams, including three new furry shredders. It was a full-on spectacle with the competitors busting out their sickest tricks in the waves. Poppy, Michele, and Luke were crowned the best wave of 2023.

How good was the 2022 Surfing Dog Championships?! Our surfing dog stars and their humans faced some big waves in their battle to take home the Best Wave Award.
