The 2025 Surfing Dog Championships made a triumphant return to Noosa Main Beach on March 15th at 3 PM, drawing our biggest crowd yet, with nearly 5,000 spectators lining the shore to cheer on the action!
Beneath the sunny skies and with a perfect Noosa swell rolling in, 14 incredible teams took to the waves in a high-energy showdown, all vying for the prestigious Best Wave Award.
Now in its 14th year, the championships welcomed talented competitors from all over Australia. Brought to you in proud partnership with Simparica Trio, our co-sponsors and the number 1 best selling preventative for dogs. It’s the ultimate protection for adventurous dogs, keeping them safe no matter where their next wave takes them.
Team Happy returned for their third year, making the journey all the way from Perth!
While Team Lani came up from Victoria, though this year without Spike, who sadly passed away at the end of last year.
In a heartfelt tribute, all competitors took a moment of silence before entering the water to honour the surfing dogs we've lost over the years.
Team Duke made a strong return with Jonesy and the kids all taking part again.
Newcomers Team Rusty showed off their skills, making the trip from Wollongong to show us how it’s done down south.
