Bravecto Plus for cats offers greater coverage for your pet. While Bravecto protects your cat against fleas and paralysis ticks, Bravecto Plus also treats roundworm and lungworm infections, ear mites infestation and protects against heartworm disease.
What is the active ingredient in Bravecto Plus?
Both Bravecto’ and Bravecto Plus’ active ingredient list contains Fluralaner, a potent agent against fleas and paralysing ticks. But Bravecto Plus contains an additional active ingredient, Moxidectin. This drug prevents and controls parasitic worms, such as heartworms, lungworms and intestinal worms.
Is Bravecto Plus safe for all cats?
Yes, Bravecto Plus is safe for all cats, provided they haven’t already had an adverse reaction to any of the active ingredients. You can start using Bravecto Plus on kittens older than 9 weeks and over 1.2kg and change to stronger dosages as your cat grows. If in doubt, please speak to your veterinarian.
Are there any side effects?
Side effects after the administration of Bravecto Plus are extremely rare. In fact, they occur in less than 2.5% of treated cats. In the unlikely event that your cat is affected, they will resolve within a few hours to a few days.
