This is a milk substitute for possum & glider joeys with greater than 80% of their pouch life completed.
At this stage, Joeys have short to dense fur, eyes fully opened and ears erect. They spend some time out of the pouch and may also consume some solid food. Firm dark pellets to soft faeces.
Use Possum Milk Replacer >0.8 when the joeys are fully-furred, becoming more active and emerging from the pouch.

Making up Milk:
First, add about half the water to the powder and mix to a paste. Make up with remaining water and mix thoroughly. Use preboiled water to ensure that it is sterilised. Too hot water can cause the milk to curdle. Too cold and it will be difficult to disperse the powder. The milk needs to be well mixed to prevent it from separating out because Wombaroo contains elevated fat levels. Using an electric whisk can be helpful for mixing larger quantities. The milk can be stored in the fridge for a day, and it can also be frozen for up to 2 weeks. Storing frozen milk in small portions may be useful (e.g. ice cube trays), to easily thaw out the required daily feed volumes. Must re-mix well after thawing. Discard any unused milk once thawed out, and make sure to wash feeding utensils thoroughly.
