HI, MY NAME IS

SAGE

I'm a 7 year-old Blue Merle Border Collie and I love to do acrobatic tricks! My dad Dan and I started out playing with the Frisbee, but Dad quickly realised I was really good at that so we started to practice some other tricks. Now I can do all sorts of cool things like balance on my dad's feet, walk on my hind legs, jump through my dad's arms or leap off his back and over the top of people.

Speaking of people I love people! Dad and I love to practice all of my tricks in front of a crowd and you can sometimes see us down at First Point in Noosa Heads where the Surfing Dog Championships are held every year. I did compete as a surfing dog for a few years but I'm retired now and just go along to show off my tricks on the sand. I've also been on the news a few times because one of my other favourite things to do is to ride on my dad's motorcycle. I get strapped into a harness and Dad wears me like a backpack. I only wish I wasn't facing backwards because I love to see where we are going, but it is still so much fun!

My perfect day would start off at First Point practising my tricks, then dad and I would hop on the bike and head over to Bunnings so I can ride around in the trolley and get lots of pats.
